The bird, a symbol of freedom, is being poached at a pace never seen before. Bird communities are vital to healthy ecosystems due to their cross pollination and insect control. Without them, nature cannot thrive.

Broken Wings is a unique documentary-music film that tells the untold story of bird poaching around the world. Right now, millions of songbirds are caught every year, taking the magic from our forests. They’re then traded in huge bird markets and eventually end up living the remainder of their life in cages throughout big cities, far from the forest.
